Surrealist sonic wallpaper. Repeating randomized patterns. Automating my own job.
These are patterns that would play endlessly but are here in about 20 minute cuts. All the variation comes from random processes and repeating automation. I don't suggest listening the whole album or even single tracks from start to finish but picking any pattern you want to listen to and then switching to another whenever you feel like it.
Originally made on a cheap mini-laptop while traveling in Africa, Middle East and Caucasus in the fall of 2018. Then when the 2020 pandemic hit I was forced to stay at home ungodly amounts of time which led me to create alternative versions that use a bit heavier software running on a proper PC.
Original tracks done purely with Renoise.
New versions also use Reaktor 5 and various VSTs.
